Our firm was started in 1975 by P. William "Bill" Orth, CPA, in a small office in Dover, Delaware. Almost 50 years later, the firm has grown steadily and now consists of 3 full-time CPAs and 3 staff members. The foundational principle of our firm is to provide expert tax solutions to businesses and individuals in a personalized manner. We have a genuine concern for our clients and go above and beyond to service each one to the best of our abilities. We have maintained this philosophy over the history of our firm in spite of the many changes in the economy, the culture, and our profession. While the majority of our business is centered in and around the Delmarva Peninsula, our firm serves a diverse client base located throughout the United States and even some residing in foreign countries. We understand each of our clients have unique needs and we strive to help each one achieve their goals by providing accounting and tax expertise to their situations.
Our firm partners have over 100 years of combined professional experience and are members in good standing of multiple professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants (DSCPA) and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Our partners have served as board members of various non-profit organizations and are engaged in our communities.
Lastly, in order to insure we are providing a consisting high level of professional services to our clients, our firm voluntarily subjects itself to an independent "peer review" of our accounting and financial statement preparation practices. For more than 20 years, we have received an unqualified report concluding that we have successfully adhered to the professional standards established by the AICPA. This is something in which we take great pride, considering the numerous changes which have taken place in our professional during that period of time.
